Sofia & Alejandro

Alejandro had been planning this for three months without a single slip. He told Sofia they were heading to the beach for a quiet sunset dinner — nothing unusual for a couple who had spent years falling in love with Punta Cana.

What she didn't know was that our team had spent the afternoon transforming a private stretch of Playa Bávaro into something out of a dream. Two hundred white roses. Candles arranged along the waterline. A photographer hidden discreetly among the palms.

When Sofia turned the corner of the beach path and saw it all, she stopped walking entirely. Alejandro was already on one knee by the time she reached him. She said yes before he finished the question.

"We've been coming to Punta Cana since our second date," Alejandro told us afterward. "It only made sense that this is where I asked her."
